How much does a burglar alarm cost?

Each home is unique & has different security needs. 

We can give a rough estimate of how much your alarm system will cost based on information you give us over the phone, or via email. But without really speaking with a client and conducting a site visit we can't fully appreciate your requirements.

Do we promise to be the cheapest option available? The short answer is, no.

That's because we provide bespoke costings dependant on a range of factors, including number of access points, rooms and whether the customer would like a CCTV system to compliment the alarm or perimeter security. 

One size does not fit all when it comes to your home & family's security.

What is the best alarm system to stop burglars?

There is a range of burglar alarm systems on the market. We recommend wireless intruder alarms for domestic premises.

Wireless systems are exactly that, wireless, meaning that they are easier & quicker to install, and have a better finish in your home. 

Wireless systems use radio signals to communicate when an alarm has been activated.

Wireless systems allows for additional products to be added at a later date, for example smoke & heat alarms can be added, or additional sensors should you build an extension to your home.

You can of course control your alarm system from your smart device from anywhere in the world.

How does the quotation process work?

A site visit will be arranged which should last no more than one hour.

One of our team will be in touch in the days leading up to the visit to talk over the process & allow you to ask any initial questions you may have.

Upon completion of the site visit, a quotation will be sent for your perusal within 48 hours.

Proceeding with the project

Once you are happy with your quotation simply contact us to confirm that you wish to proceed and we will arrange an installation appointment.

We will send an initial invoice by email for a 50% deposit (non returnable) which is required to be paid 7 days in advance of your installation.

A second invoice will be sent for the balance upon completion.

How long will my installation take?

Each installation varies and as such we book a whole day appointment, as agreed with our client.

There is no need for the client to remain on site for the duration of the installation, however it is useful to be around for arrival and hand over of the completed works.


All works & parts are guaranteed for 12 months including call-outs within this period. If you have a fault or issue with your system please contact us for assistance. We will aim to resolve the issue over the phone and if this is unsuccessful we will attend to site in person to rectify.

Maintenance contracts

We provide annual maintenance contracts for all alarm systems starting from £60+VAT.

Contracts include a full service on the system and 12 months cover for any call outs. 

Call out charges 

For non maintenance contracted call outs we charge a flat fee of £75+VAT for one hour.

Additional hours are charged at £35+VAT thereafter.
